CERL-Con 2025 Event Branding
A branding project for an annual networking and knowledge-sharing event put on by the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) in Champaign, IL. The theme for 2025 was travel in order to help people feel a bit of whimsy in an otherwise confusing and concerning year for federal workers. For visuals, I leaned heavily into the kitschy postcards you might find at a classic Route 66 roadside tourist trap, and created key art for a postcard mailer, photo backdrop, and promotional graphics. I also developed a passport-style pocket schedule for the events and features of the week. All of this was created to be complimentary and cohesive to the CERL colors and visual identity I helped develop.
